Project TeePee Update

Progress continues:

* The Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC) has recommended to the Chancellor (the head of Diocesan legal affairs) that approval should be given for our proposed works.

* We now have a period of 28 days of ‘public consultation’. The requisite notices are on display inside and outside the Church.

* Meanwhile, tendering for the work has started.  Five companies (incl one builder within Box) have been invited to submit quotes.

* This progress makes our fundraising even more important! Please help to sell plenty of tickets for the Auction of Promises.

There is an increasingly urgent need to modernise the toilet and refreshment area facilities in St Thomas à Becket Church.  Above all, we need a fully accessible toilet. The TeePee fund has been set up to enable us to raise money for this important work.

Proceeds from the Auction of Promises will help fund these essential upgrades.
