Sisters of the Church

The Sisters were very, very grateful for our donations of Christmas puddings (59), gloves (46) and items of ladies’ toiletries (26), in addition to our bags of basic foodstuffs.


There is a copy of their ‘Thank You’ letter on the noticeboard in Church.



The Craft Club will be back in 2017

The next date for your diary is Thursday 19 January, in Church, at the usual time of 10am - 12noon.  The January theme is ‘Hearts’.


Everyone is very Welcome to the Craft Club that meets in St Thomas’ once a month.  No need to be a member of the congregation and you can dip in and out according to interest.



Box Burns Night Ceilidh - only 13 tickets left!

Supporting the TeePee Fund


We are celebrating Burns Night in the Selwyn Hall on Saturday evening,  28 January 2017. Money raised from ticket sales will go to the TeePee fund and the tickets are selling fast.  There are only 13 left.


A fabulous haggis supper and excellent dancing are included in the ticket price, which is £18 for adults and £7 for children.  A vegetarian alternative can be arranged, please advise of any special dietary requirements when booking the tickets.


Tickets can be booked at the Vicarage office on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, T. 744458 or from Charles Freeman, T. 744155.


The Box Burns Night will be an important fund raising event.


Ideas for other events include, a West Indian music evening and a “Murder Mystery”.  On the 10th of June 2017 there will be an Auction of Promises.
