Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Auction of Promises - this Saturday - SOLD OUT

The Auction of Promises this Saturday 10 June is sold out.  If you missed getting a ticket, or can’t be there for other reasons, there is still an opportunity to secure a favourite lot by leaving an advance bid with Lee or Pam.

There has been fantastic support in making promises and we now have 60 quality lots, ranging from cakes to rounds of golf; a week in a holiday cottage in Brittany to theatre tickets.

If you can’t be there on the night, Pam and Lee are taking advance bids.  Just give them a call:  Pam Farmer, T. 744171, Lee Towler T. 743706.

The Auction of Promises is this Saturday 10 June, at 7.30pm in Selwyn Hall.

Help in setting up

Quick note for those who have kindly offered to help with setting up on Saturday prior to the auction:  access to the hall is going to be available to us from 2pm so that is when we shall start arranging the hall.  All help very much appreciated.

There is a big crowd coming on Saturday evening, probably feeling thirsty!   I have the names of a few who have offered to help at the bar, but if there is anybody else who can spend half an hour on that at some stage I'd love to hear from you !

There is an increasingly urgent need to modernise the toilet and refreshment area facilities in St Thomas à Becket Church.

Above all, we need a fully accessible toilet. The TeePee fund has been set up to enable us to raise money for this

important work. Proceeds from the Auction of Promises will help fund these essential upgrades.
